Sarah founded Happy Valley Volleyball Club in 2023 and now serves as its director. With a lifelong passion for volleyball and her community, Sarah founded HVVC to provide year-round training opportunities for local athletes.
Her volleyball journey began in sixth grade, leading her to compete with Nike NW Juniors for seven seasons. During high school at Gresham, she contributed to back-to-back 4A OSAA State Championships in 2001 and 2002. After graduating in 2003, she attended Boise State University on a full athletic scholarship.
Following college, she prioritized raising three children. In 2016, coaching her daughter's recreational volleyball team planted seeds for what became HVVC. She now brings 10+ years of coaching experience spanning recreational and competitive levels to inspire athletes. Now in its third season, HVVC has experienced rapid growth under Sarah's leadership.

Kat handles the day-to-day administrative operations that keep HVVC running smoothly. With over ten years of accounting and administrative experience in higher education, she manages registrations, communications, and organizational logistics so coaches can stay focused on athlete development.

Tatum is the founder of Take5 Athletics and leads Strength & Performance training at HVVC. He works with athletes on explosive movement, agility, strength, and injury prevention — the physical tools that elevate on-court performance.
Whether your athlete wants to move faster, jump higher, or build durability through a long season, Tatum's programming is designed to help them get there. He also integrates functional nutrition strategies to support recovery and long-term athletic development.

Nicole develops confident competitors through purposeful training, communication, and team culture.
Nicole brings over five years of coaching experience and a decade of playing club volleyball, plus eight years of beach volleyball. She competed at the varsity level at Clackamas High School and went on to play collegiately. She has three years coaching club teams at 12U and two years at 14U.
Nicole emphasizes a positive and inclusive environment, helping athletes build confidence, resilience, and strong sportsmanship. Outside of volleyball, she enjoys country concerts, University of Oregon Ducks football at Autzen Stadium, rodeos, and spending time with friends and her dog.

A dedicated volleyball enthusiast living in Happy Valley with her husband Ryan and their two kids, Peter and Amelia.
Aubrey started her volleyball journey at 12 with Nike NW Jrs and played in local programs in Estacada, her hometown. She had a standout high school career at Estacada High School, where she competed in the 3A OSAA Tri-Valley Conference from 2000-2004. Under the guidance of Melanie Hambleton, she played four years on varsity, helping her team clinch the 3A state championship in 2003. That year, she earned the title of Oregon's Player of the Year and was named First Team All League.
After high school, Aubrey continued her volleyball career at Eastern Oregon University. Passionate about the sport, she looks forward to inspiring the next generation of athletes!

Mary fell in love with volleyball in sixth grade and never stopped. She played for Nike NW Jrs. and Cascade Jrs., and at Sam Barlow HS where her team finished second in state twice.
As a junior, she earned Honorable Mention recognition, and as a senior she was named First Team All-Conference Hitter. After high school, Mary joined the United States Air Force and pursued academics, earning a degree in Social Work.
Her coaching career started at 8th Street Academy and FCA Volleyball Club. This year, she returned to Sam Barlow High School as the JV2 Head Coach. Mary leads with high standards, emphasizing a balance of working hard and having fun. She develops athletes both on and off the court through positive encouragement and constructive feedback.
Outside coaching, Mary enjoys time with her chickens, pug, family, and friends. She continues participating in adult volleyball leagues, tournaments, and open gyms.

Kendal has been involved in volleyball since middle school, competing for NCVBC, Athena, and Clackamas High School.
She currently serves as head coach of Clackamas High School's JV2 team and has coached at GETC for the past three summers, where she discovered her passion for coaching.
Kendal is committed to creating a positive, supportive environment where athletes can grow in confidence and develop their love for the sport. Her approach emphasizes building strong fundamentals and technical skills while also emphasizing the mental side of being an athlete. She is pursuing a nursing degree at Mt. Hood Community College.
Outside of volleyball, she enjoys camping, reading, and spending time with her family on adventures including kiteboarding and snowboarding.

Eden discovered her passion for volleyball at age 12 when she first joined the AGAPE Volleyball Club.
She later joined North Clackamas Volleyball Club and played for Clackamas High School until the pandemic ended her season. Eden brings her lifelong love of the game to every practice, helping young athletes refine their technique, embrace the power of teamwork, and unlock their full potential.
Eden partners with her husband, Tatum, whose expertise in training and strength-and-conditioning complements her coaching. Together, they focus on building both skill and strength in HVVC's athletes. Outside of coaching, Eden is pursuing a career in radiology as an X-ray technician.

Tatum Erickson is a dynamic Strength & Performance Coach and Nutrition Therapy Master who blends advanced movement science with functional nutrition to elevate athletic potential. Founder of Take5 Athletics and Take5 Nutrition.
A former multi-sport athlete turned performance specialist, Tatum has built his career around developing speed, power, and durability through precise biomechanics, efficient movement, and evidence-based nutrition. His programming emphasizes functional strength, mobility, and recovery, all designed to enhance performance and prevent injury.
As the assistant coach for HVVC's 12-1 team, Tatum brings a disciplined yet encouraging energy to the court. His focus goes beyond drills - cultivating confident, explosive, and well-rounded athletes who understand how to optimize both body and mind for long-term success.
Tatum works with youth, collegiate, and professional athletes to build speed, strength, and power through movement mastery, improve recovery with personalized nutrition strategies, reduce injury risk through intelligent training, and develop a championship mindset rooted in confidence and consistency.
